On February 10, 1978, in Hatay Samandağ, İbrahim Pekmez was born in a house surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. The joy of the first harvest and the earthy scent of the family's heirloom groves sank into his soul; for him, the olive became the most vivid witness of purity and trust.

Growing up with this heritage, Pekmez channeled his passion for health into academia: completing his medical degree at Ege University and his specialization in Pediatrics at Gaziantep University.

In 2009, his path led him to Mut — the capital of EU-certified olive heritage. While working at Mut State Hospital, he fell in love again with the unique landscape of the Taurus Mountains; the pure scent of olives from his childhood took root here once more, together with a physician's scientific vision. This is where the seeds of Clodia were planted.
